Responsibilities of the Senior Software Security Analyst:
  • Guide developers on the resolution of security defects within code
  • Follow up with developers on needed adjustments
  • Complete application risk assessments
  • Run source code scans and assist with penetration tests as required 
  • Conduct malicious code detection as required
  • Establish development best practices
Requirements of the Senior Software Security Analyst:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
  • At least 7 years of experience with software development and security
  • Familiarity with many coding languages, OWASP Top 10, CWEs
  • Familiarity with NIST Standards and CIS Policies and Controls
  • Excellent communication skills
  • CISSP or equivalent certification preferred
