Job Description

Do you possess at least ten years of Storage Engineer work experience, particularly with a federal government agency? If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our leading government integrator client in McLean!

This is a contract to hire opportunity. All applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration.

Requirements of the Senior Storage Engineer:

  • Bachelor's degree and relevant technical training
  • Current ITIL certification or the ability to get within 90 days
  • Relevant SAN/EMC certifications a strong plus
  • At least 10 years of extensive SAN/EMC storage infrastructure experience
  • At least 10 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 5 in a technical lead role
  • Experience as a technical lead independently resolving issues in a federal agency setting
  • Skilled in storage analysis, capacity planning, and performance planning
  • Strong understanding of SAN management concepts
  • Focus on providing excellent customer service
