Job Description

We have an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Systems Administrator with our leading national security client in Norfolk.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicants must be a US Citizen with an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities of the Senior Systems Administrator:

  • Actively monitor and maintain system functionality
  • Maintain the integrity and security of servers and systems
  • Work collaboratively to design effective and efficient solutions
  • Offer guidance on systems troubleshooting and new solution design best practices
  • Evaluate current or emerging technologies in consideration for implementation
  • Evaluate existing systems to suggest changes 

Requirements of the Senior Systems Administrator:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent; or, equivalent training, experience, and education
  • At least 5 years of directly related experience in systems administration
  • Current Security+ certification required
