Job Description

Our well known client is in search of a senior-level Systems Administrator to support day-to-day operations in a distributed, 24x7 environment.

We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities of the Senior Systems Administrator:
  • Set up, configure, administer, and maintain Windows systems
  • Address critical issues as they arise to ensure maximum uptime
  • Leverage excellent troubleshooting, multitasking, and analytical skills
  • Respond to and resolve service tickets in ServiceNow system
  • Rectify issues remotely via Bomgar or in person
  • Maintain corporate physical and virtual environment 
Requirements of the Senior Systems Administrator:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 10 years of IT experience
  • At least 5 years of Windows OS support experience
  • Extensive experience with system security requirements and server hardening, including Carbon Black
  • Thorough understanding and experience with WSUS
  • Experience using SolarWinds and Tenable
  • Ability to document processes for repetition 
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
