Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a SharePoint Developer with our industry-leading client in Rockville.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities of the SharePoint Developer:

  • Utilize SharePoint to maintain current and create new web-based applications
  • Ensure the development of new systems and that enhancements are being made to existing systems in a timely manner
  • Assess existing systems and provide solutions for technical improvements and renovation
  • Perform analysis to ensure software changes have minimal impact to existing systems.
  • Ensure delivered software meets client standards and Federal Information Systems Management Act (FISMA) requirements and follows National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and prepare software development documents
  • Collaborate with the server team to ensure applications are current, patches are properly implemented and developments are properly implemented

Requirements of the SharePoint Developer:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Engineering Science, Information Technology or related discipline (Master’s preferred)
  • 5+ years of professional development experience using SharePoint, .NET technologies with C#, CSS, and ASP.NET/ASP.NET MVC, Angular, Angular JS. Vue.JS
  • Experience in using Infopath Forms, SharePoint Forms, SharePoint Designer, SharePoint migration, .NET Framework, MS-SQL Server, JavaScript and HTML
  • Understanding of Relational Database Design, Transact-SQL Stored Procedures, Configuration Management, Application Integration, Component Reuse, Prototyping, Use Cases, and Web Services
  • SharePoint development experience using Windows Workflow Foundation, InfoPath Forms, and Excel Services
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing Visual Studio for implementing local and enterprise-wide enhancements and features
  • Extensive experience with implementing workflows, SharePoint, Agile/SCRUM
