We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Reliability Engineer with our industry-leading client in Cary.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

This position offers $145,000 per year plus bonuses.

Responsibilities of the Site Reliability Engineer:

  • Development of automation for proactive handling maintenance needs such as:
    • Monitoring
    • Capacity management
    • Infrastructure management
    • Performance and stability
  • Application compliance with DB polices
  • Audit issues remediation
  • Configuration change schedule and implementation
  • Change Management coordination with L1/L2

Requirements of the Site Reliability Engineer:

  • 7+ years of IT support or hands-on technical software development or build/release management experience
  • Strong knowledge of Tomcat and JAVA application
  • Strong knowledge in one or more of our tool stack
  • Strong Agile-style development background
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, UNIX/Linux operating systems and networking/infrastructure
  • Working knowledge of public cloud
  • Database basics
  • Monitoring basics
  • Network technologies knowledge
  • Programming / scripting for automation
