Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a SOC Analyst with our industry-leading client in Suitland.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. All applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration.

Responsibilities of the SOC Analyst:

  • Follow established protocol and processes for audit requirements 
  • Monitor security logs, conduct forensic analysis, and develop reports
  • Evaluate and develop methods to secure information system vulnerabilities 
  • Support incident response and secure website management
  • Conduct security monitoring of systems

Requirements of the SOC Analyst:

  • At least 3 years of experience in IT security operations management
  • Experience with security monitoring management
  • Familiarity with incident response and resolution and forensic analysis
  • Experience with security monitoring systems
  • Solid networking knowledge - OSI network layers, TCP/IP
  • Ability to multitask and work on multiple project simultaneously
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
