Responsibilities of the SDET:
  • Develop testing programs; execute test plans and scripts
  • Utilize a bug tracking system to document software defects
  • Identify, analyze, and document problems
  • Report defects to software developers
  • Monitor bug resolution and track success
  • Maintain database of known test defects
Requirements of the SDET:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field 
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in an IT setting
  • Development and programming experience
  • Experience with automated testing tools
