    Requirements of the Software Development Instructor:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience; or,
    • Associate's degree in a computer discipline and at least 5 years of experience
    • Fluency in Java stack, Cloud native development, CI/CD processes, Angular, SQL, and Agile processes
    • Well versed in software development life cycle best practices
    • At least 1 year of relevant teaching or education experience:
      • Translating complex technical concepts to adult learners
      • Working with diverse audiences with varying learning styles
      • Designing curriculum and ongoing evaluation for continuous improvement
      • Developing syllabi and lesson plans
      • Assessing and coaching students
      • Experience with Salesforce, LMS, and/pr workforce development a plus
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
    • Passionate about technology education for adult learners
    • Ability to teach with a highly interactive and hands-on style
    • Excellent interpersonal skills; effective communicator, verbally and in writing
