We have an excellent opportunity for a Software Engineer with our industry-leading client in Cary.

Responsibilities of the Software Engineer:

  • Design, develop, maintain, and support software products
  • Follow industry best practices for software development activities
  • Work independently as part of a larger team to deliver quality solutions
  • Support or conduct system, performance, volume, and stress testing
  • Work with UX team to create user interfaces and incorporate into application
  • Ensure system can meet or exceed service level agreements

Requirements of the Software Engineer:

  • Bachelor's degree and 7 years of Java/J2EE web development experience; or,
  • Master's degree and at least 3 years of technical experience
  • Comfortable with front-end, middle tier, and back end technologies
  • Expertise in front-end technologies with hands-on experience in the last 2 years
  • Expertise in Spring and Hibernate or equivalent ORM, with hands-on experience in the last 2 years
  • Expertise with Tomcat/WebSphere servers
  • Experience in Agile methodology
