Job Description

Our client is looking to add an additional Software Engineer to their Data Service Group in Annapolis, MD.

Due to federal security contract requirements, this opportunity requires US Citizenship.

Duration: 6 month - Contract to Hire

Responsibilities of the Software Engineer:

  • Provide software development and support for assigned applications
  • Program in Python, HTML, and JavaScript in a Web 2.0 environment
  • Develop software applications on Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android platforms
  • Perform testing: from unit testing to functional end-to-end testing

Requirements of the Software Engineer:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline, particularly Computer Science, Engineering, or Math
  • At least 1 year of software and some system engineering experience, including implementing change and upgrades, system integration, and performance analysis
  • Proven experience and ability to manage customer requirements
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • AWS Cloud knowledge and experience is a plus
