Job Description

Solution Architect – Java / SOA

Our innovative and industry leading client is searching for an experienced Solution Architect to build out and enhance a new digital platform in the Cincinnati, OH area. This future platform will allow customers to open new accounts and leverage new service offerings faster in a highly automated and data centric environment.

The Solution Architect is responsible for working with the technical development teams, the Chief Architect, and business stakeholders to lead, create, and deliver design specifications for this modernized platform, and ensure its compliance with enterprise standards. Past experience leading digital transformation projects is ideal.

Duration: 12 Months + Renewable Contract

Rate: $70.00 - $85.00/hr C2C or W2 (Health, Dental, Vision, 401k Matching)

Requirements for the Solutions Architect (Java / SOA):

  • 5+ years experience designing, and architecting enterprise Java applications and SOA
  • Extensive understanding and interest in large-scale, transactional and enterprise IT solutions, including high performance software architecture, security standards, system infrastructure, and system integration.
  • Experience designing out Java environments using enterprise middleware technologies such as EAP, Websphere, and Tomcat  
  • Working knowledge of UML diagrams in creating high-level design documents (HLD’s) using tools such as Rational Rose or Enterprise Architect or VISIO.
  • Experience with Cloud Technologies such as, AWS, OpenShift
  • Experience with Data Architecture a plus
  • TOGAF Certification is a HUGE PLUS
