Job Description

Are you a skilled System Administrator with SQL expertise? If you'd like to support a key government initiative, we may have the ideal role for you in Quantico.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen with an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities of the SQL DBA:
  • Leverage industry best practices to update DB to new versioning
  • Perform software upgrades, patch installs, and firmware upgrades
  • Support performance tuning of DB and server connections
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot OS/hardware/network issues 
  • Document work, create and update SOPs
Requirements of the SQL DBA:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
  • At least 6 years of systems administration experience
  • IAT Level II certification: GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, or CCNA-Security
  • Experience with SQL Server 2012/2014/2016+
  • Experience with SQL administration via SQL Server Management Studio as well as transact statements
  • Experience with Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 and MS Power BI
  • Familiarity with Linux OS supporting MySQL PSQL instances
  • Familiarity with servers in a VMware virtual environment
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment to troubleshoot and resolve problems
