Job Description

Immediate opportunity in the Tampa area for an experienced SQL Server DBA that has proven experience maintaining and updating internal tracking databases. In this role you will be responsible for strong development, implementation, deployment of SQL Server 2014/2016 production and non-production database environments. You will be responsible for a lot of new projects and day to day engineering.
 
Our client is open to considering local and non-local candidates interested in relocating to the Tampa/St. Pete area. 
 
Requirements:
  • Strong installation, troubleshooting, administration experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2014/2016
  • Strong experience on performance tuning SQL Server; experience with data integrity, data retention
  • Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design (stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints)
  • Experience using Visual Basic to interface with database elements
  • Ability to read and develop advanced T-SQL procedures 
  • Experience with SQL clustering, SQL replication, hardware replication, and/or disaster recovery implementations a plus
  • Certifications in specific technologies preferred but not required
