Our client is an American publicly owned investment firm that is headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland.  For more than 75 years, our client has been dedicated to putting the customer first so they feel confident in investing through them.  They are currently looking for a Sr. Backend Java Developer to join their team.

We will accept corp to corp or w2 contractors. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Requirements of the Sr. Backend Java Developer:

  • Extensive experience with Java and RESTful web service or microservice design and development
  • Experience with Spring framework, XML, JSON, SQL, and AWS
  • Experience with testing tools like Selenium, SoapUI, and JUnit
  • Understanding of OWASP Top 10 security vulnerabilities and best security practices
  • Proven ability to support development efforts through the SDLC including leading design/code reviews
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams, business stakeholders, and external partners
