Job Description

Eliassen Group is currently assisting a leading financial services company with finding an experienced DevOps Engineer in Northern Virginia.  You will be joining an exciting team to support a Consumer Identity program that was created in direct response to a high profile security breach. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of their public cloud hosted infrastructure. We're looking for automation experts! 

This is a contract to hire, requiring the ability to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities of the Sr. DevOps Engineer:

  • Receive and respond to incidents and events to ensure highly available systems 
  • Design and implement monitoring of critical applications and services
  • Work with developers to build CI/CD pipelines and automate tasks
Requirements of the Sr. DevOps Engineer:
  • Bachelor's degree an at least 5 years of experience with AWS
  • At least 5 years of with Linux and supporting critical system availability
  • At least 3 years of experience building and tuning application infrastructure monitoring
  • At least 3 years of experience implement automation workflows and automated delivery
  • Clear and effective communication skills, verbal and written
