Job Description

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Node Developer to work with them in Baltimore, MD.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with an active Secret clearance.

Requirements of the Sr. Node Developer:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • At least 6 years of of relevant work experience
  • At least 2 years experience with full-stack software development using Node.js and JavaScript frameworks like React.js, Express.js, MobX, Redux or Flux.js.
  • Comprehensive understanding of UI frameworks, back-end software architecture interactions, and node module capabilities
  • Extensive experience developing RESTful Web Services using Node.js. in an Agile/Scrum/Kanban environment
  • Advanced skills for programming, program debugging, data analysis, problem analysis and resolution of issues with open source apps
  • Ability to provide technical direction and perform software development to include design, development and testing
  • Expert level knowledge of how to write and optimize complex SQL queries in PostgreSQL 
  • Ability to mentor team members on Node.js and React technologies
