Job Description

Are you a Strategic Workforce Planning Lead looking to enhance, develop and implement cutting edge strategies? If so, I have a position in Reston, VA with a leading biomedical research company.

The Strategic Workforce Planning Lead must possess skills and experience in strategic workforce planning, organizational development, and talent management to successfully partner with various stakeholders on a broad range of strategies and options to achieve the desired workforce.

Due to federal security contract requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities of the Strategic Workforce Planning Lead:

  • Lead and influence strategic workforce planning
  • Coordinate with Talent Acquisition and Development teams to identify opportunities to close talent gaps
  • Work with key stakeholders to develop workforce plans; help to communicate, execute, and monitor plans
  • Enhance and refine enterprise workforce strategic planning tools and processes to ensure consistency 
  • Identify and implement selected tools, systems, and programs to enhance internal talent mobility
  • Develop reporting metrics and dashboards to analyze progress and deliver results to leadership

Requirements of the Strategic Workforce Planning Lead:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least years of professional experience
  • At least 4 years of experience in strategic workforce planning in complex, high growth environments
  • Demonstrated experience driving execution across multiple lines of business
  • Demonstrated analytical aptitude to support metrics development and management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management
