We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Management - Experienced Associate with our industry-leading client in Washington DC.

Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Management - Experienced Associate:

  • Our Supply Chain Management consultants help clients realize competitive advantage from operations. This high performing team translates business strategy into effective operations to drive both effective and responsive supply chains. Specific areas of focus include product innovation and development, supply chain, procurement and sourcing, manufacturing operations, service operations, and capital asset programs, and operations.

Requirements of the Supply Chain Management - Experienced Associate:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or Engineering
  • Certification(s) Preferred:
    • Project Management Institute (PMI): Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAMP)
    • American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS): Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), SCOR-Professional (SCOR-P), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
  • Knowledge Preferred:
    • Knowledge of one or more of the following areas within the Aerospace & Defense industry: Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO); supply chain planning and control; sourcing and procurement; manufacturing/production; repair operations; distribution; and return/reverse supply chain.
    • Previous supply chain or logistics experience in Department of Defense (DoD) (Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marine Corps) and/or Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) including directives, regulations, policies, and procedural knowledge related to DoD supply chain operations.
    • Knowledge in Supply Chain Management and Repair Depot Operations to include Supply Chain Network Design, Inventory Planning & Optimization, Repair Demand Forecasting, and Supply Chain Modeling and Simulation.
    • Major weapons system sustainment support and related commodity support knowledge and experience.
    • Experience working in Product Lifecycle Support, acquisition logistics or sustainment logistics including related areas of Product Support Management
    • Experience with quantitative analysis such as Business Case Analysis (BCAs) or lifecycle cost estimate.
