Job Description

Our client is seeking a talented System Administrator to work in a highly innovative environment.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to pass a Commercial Background Investigation and an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities of the System Administrator:
  • Provide support for desktops and servers
  • Implement security processes per defined requirements
  • Patch operating systems and monitor needs of third party products
  • Update firmware and BIOS and implement security requirements
Requirements of the System Administrator:
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a relevant field and at least one certification
  • At least 5 years of experience in systems administration
  • Extensive comprehension of both the Linux and Windows systems
  • Experience with security hardening along with RMF and JSIG
  • Documentation skills and experience with active directory and GPOs
  • Ability to perform Powershell scripting and familiarity with enterprise backups and storage
  • Knowledge of SCAP, Nessus, McAfee virus scan and EPO, DLP solutions
  • Knowledge of with networking terms, switches, routers and WMWare/ESXi
