Job Description

We have a wonderful opportunity for a Technical Project Manager with our leading client in DC.

Responsibilities of the Technical Project Manager:

  • Manage a major mission critical application with multiple COTS, custom components, and services
  • Ensure project management practices align with customer methodology and best practices for stakeholder and risk management
  • Shift projects from fragile practices to more sustainable management and engineering practices

Requirements of the Technical Project Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information technology or related field of study
  • At least 5 years of full life cycle implementation experience with various SDLC methodologies 
  • At least 3 years of full life cycle project management experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with strong presentation and facilitation skills 
  • Strong interpersonal, cross team and vendor coordination, organizational and motivational skills
  • PMP certification and knowledge of Agile best practices preferred
