Job Description

Our client is a genomic analysis company focused on developing metrics for easier and earlier illness detection. They’re dedicated to impacting as many lives as possible with their innovative technologies. Our client is currently seeking a Technical Writer to join their team.

We will accept corp to corp or w2 contractors. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities of the Technical Writer:

  • Work with the Scrum Team that is in charge of completing all SDLC document deliverables before a production release
  • Work closely across teams in authoring clear, concise, consistent, and technically accurate documents
  • Use Atlassian’s Confluence and Microsoft tools to create the required artifacts

Requirements of the Technical Writer:

  • BA or BS or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of experience as a technical writer
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle models
  • Able to deliver easily understandable documents
  • Experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Agile Project Management tools
