We have a great opportunity for a skilled Test Automation Engineer looking for a stable, long term contract role.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident with an active Public Trust clearance and two years of residency.

Responsibilities of the Test Automation Engineer:
  • Participate in software testing, creation, and implementation of test strategies, plans, and automated test scripts
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts to ensure web-based applications meet organizational standards
  • Support continuous improvement processes to reduce overall defect rate and improve software development
  • Support analysis of test results and resolution of open cases
Requirements of the Test Automation Engineer:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline
  • At least 3 years of automation experience testing web-based applications in an Agile development environment
  • Proven ability to develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites across multiple environments
  • Knowledge and experience in continuous integration/continuous development using Jenkins jobs
  • Solid SQL query skills and general understanding of relational databases
  • Ability to understand data models and write test scripts based on the data model
  • Good understanding of oriented programming and data structures
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to present to technical and nontechnical audiences
