Job Description

Do you have extensive experience in cyber security? Are you interested in supporting critical projects of national importance? If so, we might have the perfect position as a Threat Detection Specialist with our client in Morrisville.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be willing and able to obtain Public Trust clearance prior to start date.

Responsibilities of the Threat Detection Specialist:

  • Support enterprise Office 365 implementation
  • Develop and support monitoring and tuning for O365 and cloud
  • Leverage process and protocol best practices 

Requirements of the Threat Detection Specialist:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in information security operations
  • Background in testing and utilizing tools to review O365 alerts
  • Experience setting up, tuning, documenting SOPs, and monitoring Cloud environment
  • Experience with threat protection, exchange online protection, Azure information protection
  • Experience optimizing and tuning alerts and developing SOPs to support cyber security initiatives
  • Experience ingesting audit logs and alerts into a SIEM
  • One or more certifications desired: CompTIA Net+ / CompTIA A+ / CompTIA Security+ / CPTE / CEH
