We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Tier 2/3 Service Desk Specialist to join our leading client in Boston.

We will accept corp to corp or w2 contractors. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities of the Tier 2/3 Service Desk Specialist:

  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for customer inquiries
  • Monitor and maintain IT service desk tickets
  • Image, install, and troubleshoot end user computing equipment
  • Ensure internal users can effectively use computing resources
  • Deliver excellent support and customer service
  • Adhere to all organizational standards and guidelines
  • Develop and enhance service desk documentation and knowledge
  • Document and share special procedures as needed

Requirements of the Tier 2/3 Service Desk Specialist:

  • At least 3 years of Tier 2/3 technical support experience
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office applications, and Office 365
  • Experience working with vendors to coordinate issue resolution
  • Broad knowledge of computer hardware and software support
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to take ownership of the support ticket life cycle
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively and efficiently 
  • Ability to create and utilize technical documentation
  • Ability to manage user issues from end to end
  • Exceptional customer service skills
