Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a Tier 3 Systems Administrator with our industry-leading national security client in DC.

This is a contract to hire opportunity; all applicants must be willing and able to convert FTE following contract period.

Responsibilities of the Tier 3 Systems Administrator:

  • Ensure operability of a mixed Windows/Linux server environment
  • Evaluate, monitor, and enhance IT infrastructure
  • Ensure server hardware, operating systems, software, and processes align with organizational standards
  • Increase team productivity by automating repetitive tasks using PowerShell or VB Script
  • Serve as an escalation point for advanced network/systems troubleshooting
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers

Requirements of the Tier 3 Systems Administrator:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 2 years of related experience
  • Strong experience supporting both Windows and Linux systems
