Job Description

Eliassen Group is seeking a UI/UX professional for an immediate opening. This is a long-term, permanent position in the commercial healthcare IT space. All interviews will be done virtually, and work will start 100% remotely. Once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted the work site will be Columbia, MD. Candidate selection and interviews will be conducted in real time. The anticipated start date is before the end of May for the selected candidate.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis.

Responsibilities of the UI/UX Developer:
  • Develop front end code for web and mobile app
  • Build UI with a mobile-first design focus
  • Translate designs into high quality code
  • Ensure maintainable code that meets specifications
Requirements of the UI/UX Developer:
  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and manage UI for large-scale web applications
  • Hands-on expertise with Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, etc.
  • Strong design aesthetic and understanding of web design best practices
  • In-depth understanding of human-centered design patterns and best practices
  • Experience using HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap 
  • Knowledge of unit testing for Angular-based applications
