Are you a Windows Systems Administrator interested in a high impact position supporting key federal programs?

Our high profile client is seeking a motivated and self-driven individual to join their team. You must be able to work directly with clients and senior staff and articulate complex technical concepts in an understandable way.

This is a contract to hire role. Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen with a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Must have at least IAT Level II certification at date of hire and CND-IS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities of the Windows Systems Admin:
  • Maintain high availability and reliability of systems
  • Ensure systems are compatible and compliant with enterprise standards
  • Determine high level requirements and present technical options and solutions
  • Work with project management to plan project schedules and technical direction
  • Perform work in such a way that minimizes impact on application downtime
Requirements of the Windows Systems Admin:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent experience/training
  • Required at date of hire:
    • IAT Level II certification 
    • IAT Level II CE certification - MCSA or MCSE
    • CEH, GICSP, SSCP, CySA+, or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Systems Administrator 
  • Knowledge of database tuning, backup and recovery
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
