Job Description

Are you a passionate System Administrator with broad expertise in Microsoft Windows? Are you interested in applying your expertise to support matters of national importance? If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our leading government integrator client in Fort Belvoir!

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities of the Windows Systems Administrator:

  • Ensure system compatibility and compliance with relevant standards for DoD architecture
  • Document, implement, and maintain systems and database security policies according to requirements
  • Participate in Active Directory design and Group Policy management
  • Maintain the integrity and security of servers and systems

Requirements of the Windows Systems Administrator:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field; or, equivalent combination of training, certifications, and experience
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II required at time of hire: CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification; additional Windows certification within 3 months (MCSA/MCSE)
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012 R2 and managing accounts in Active Directory
  • Experience with the operation and maintenance of software/network on virtual and physical hosts
  • Experience applying STIGs to Windows servers, laptops, desktops, printers, and GPOs
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, decision-making, and documentation skills
  • Experience administering systems in a government environment is a plus
