Job Description

Responsibilities of the Workforce Innovation Strategist:

  • Help to develop and implement a high impact workforce strategy
  • Design and deliver new and enhanced workforce solutions and programs
  • Contribute to organizational goals related to new income generation 
  • Set up programming to enable family-sustaining wage job attainment

Requirements of the Workforce Development Strategist:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Social Science, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in workforce development, economic development, HR, or employment related field
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement new workforce programs initiatives, and innovation solutions preferred
  • Experience working with employers on high impact talent acquisition and management strategies and solutions
  • Proven ability to manage a complex range of projects, goals, and internal and external partnerships
  • Experience scaling solutions and programs related to economic and workforce development
  • Ability to work well at an interpersonal level to champion worker needs with stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen and familiarity with a range of for-profit and non-profit models
  • Clear and effective communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to deliver projects according to schedule
