Our client is a leading supplier of auto glass and shop accessories is seeking a Network Engineer.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis.
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000/ yr. w2
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, operate, and support a global enterprise network infrastructure for high availability, performance, and security.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize LAN, WAN, and campus networks, including routing, switching, and segmentation.
- Administer and maintain network security devices, including next-generation firewalls, VPNs, routers, and switches.
- Perform firmware upgrades, configuration changes, and lifecycle management for network hardware.
- Partner with application, infrastructure, and security teams to assess dependencies and translate requirements into network solutions.
- Lead and support deployments for site rollouts, network refreshes, and capacity planning.
- Monitor performance and availability using enterprise tools and resolve issues proactively.
- Manage vendor SLAs and work with service providers to troubleshoot circuits and drive resolution.
- Design, implement, and support VoIP and unified communications, including QoS and traffic prioritization.
- Create and maintain network diagrams, standards, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Support and manage enterprise wireless networks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design scalable, secure architectures aligned to best practices.
Experience Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering within enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience implementing Network Access Control (NAC) solutions.
- Proficiency with network segmentation and related security practices.
- Experience working with managed service providers (MSPs).
- Operational experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet/FortiGate, and Meraki platforms.
- Experience with SD-WAN solutions.
- Experience with Azure and AWS networking services and integrations.
Education Requirements:
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Networking certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE.
