Our client is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile software development teams delivering critical business applications and driving enterprise modernization initiatives. The role is approximately 90% Scrum Master and 10% project management. The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, coach teams on Agile practices, and coordinate with cross-functional partners. The environment includes application modernization and initiatives with potential AI-related impacts. Candidates will collaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, and leadership to maintain delivery focus, manage risks, and improve Agile maturity.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile application development teams.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
- Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to maintain a healthy backlog aligned to business objectives.
- Remove impediments and proactively address risks and issues impacting delivery.
- Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement.
- Support Agile transformation initiatives and guide teams through maturity growth.
- Track progress, metrics, and delivery outcomes using Jira and Confluence.
- Foster collaboration between development teams, business partners, leadership, and vendors.
- Assist with project planning, status reporting, risk management, and stakeholder communications.
- Support application modernization programs and strategic technology initiatives, including emerging AI-related projects.
Experience Requirements:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
- Six or more years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
- Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile frameworks with iterative delivery.
- Experience leading or supporting Agile transformation and adoption.
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Effective facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
- Preferred: PMP certification.
- Preferred: Experience supporting AI-enabled or AI-related initiatives.
- Preferred: Experience in large-scale enterprise application development environments.
- Preferred: Background balancing Scrum Master responsibilities with light project management activities.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
