Position Summary

Eliassen Group is partnering with a high profile gov't integrator to support a long-term DOJ program. Very exciting environment transitioning into a fully mature Agile/SAFe and DevOps environment. Our end client is looking for a full stack .Net Developer to join a project team involved in the modernization of a web-based FoxPro application into ASP.NET MVC 5. Developers are responsible for both primary development and code integration testing in alternating cycles.  Team members are generally paired on a module and expected to coordinate work and communicate continuously.

Required Skills of the .Net Developer:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree
  • At least 6+ years of .Net technology experience
  • Hands-on experience with Entity Framework 6 or another ORM package
  • Hands-on experience with LINQ and Lambda expressions
  • Significant hands-on JavaScript/jQuery experience
  • Modernization/migration experience desired
  • Willingness to adopt existing code styles and development patterns
