Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer to manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes for a commerce platform. The role will focus on automation, environment reliability, and collaboration with development and QA teams. Success will require experience with Shopify API and Hydrogen, container orchestration, and cloud-based infrastructure automation.
This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $70.00 to $80.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot deployment issues.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline release cycles.
Experience Requirements:
- Shopify API and Shopify Hydrogen.
- Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and infrastructure automation.
- E-commerce deployment experience (preferred).
