Job Description

Eliassen Group is looking for a Copy Editor to support our nationally recognized client in the DC area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating content - writing, producing and editing for digital, print and other platforms to support the production of an outstanding and authoritative website, print publications, apps, videos and more!

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities of the Copy Editor:

  • Develop, produce, and refine evergreen core content on a wide range of topics, from work and jobs, to politics and policy, to scams and fraud
  • Work across other content teams: video, social, and print publications, and producers, to create high-impact content
  • Keep current on evolving best practices around digital content, including competitive web content producers
  • Collaborate to occasionally assign and edit stories
