We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Software Performance Development Engineer with our industry-leading client in Rockville.

We will accept corp to corp or w2 contractors. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Requirements of the Lead Software Performance Development Engineer:

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science
  • At least 5 years of cumulative experience in software development and quality assurance
  • Firm grasp of testing process, test types and testing methodologies
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience with object oriented design
  • Experience with programming in Java (preferred), C++, C#, or Ruby
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of algorithms to test solutions
  • Firm grasp of SQL and relational database design
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with the Unix/Linux environment
  • Demonstrable experience of common development technologies
  • Management experience
