Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a IAM Project Manager with our industry-leading client in Boston.

Responsibilities of the IAM Project Manager:

  • Ensure sensitive accounts and assets are protected through deployment of privileged access management controls, enhanced auditing and monitoring controls
  • Work with HR and technical teams to design/ deliver new approaches to onboarding, offboarding, and access provisioning processes for personnel joining and leaving the Commonwealth
  • Manage and oversee personnel assigned to the IAM Program
  • Integrate applications with the Commonwealth’s identity service and deploy privileged access management controls; single sign-on and multi-factor authentication
  • Maintain oversight of the program’s professional services support arrangements; reconcile invoices against timesheets, report on performance and milestones, and negotiate statements of work and task orders
  • Manage relationships with vendors; escalating issues and raising requests for enhancement
  • Maintain oversight of the Commonwealth’s use of software licenses
  • Devise a cost model for recharging Centrify and Idaptive licenses to secretariats, so that these costs can be captured in FY21 Budgets
  • Manage relationships with key Commonwealth stakeholders; Secretariat Chief Information Officers, Business Owners, Application Developers, and Server Owners
  • Produce communications materials for end users and key stakeholders to provide updates on the program’s progress and the rollout of new features and capabilities
  • Set goals and targets for the program across its multiple workstreams, reporting on progress and emerging risks to EOTSS senior leadership

Requirements of the IAM Project Manager:

  • 5+ years of project/ program management experience
  • Experience with various IAM tools/ technologies, highly preferred
  • Experience/ knowledge implementing technical programs highly preferred
  • Strong vendor management experience
  • Experience leading complex change management programs and people management
  • A technical background is not required; but the candidate must be a quick learner and capable of making complex technical issues easy to understand for all audiences
  • Experience of working in the public sector, or in public sector-facing roles strongly preferred
