Our innovative client is looking for a reliable Infrastructure Engineer to become an expert on their networks, infrastructure, and virtualization technologies and provide hands-on support, guidance, and

Responsibilities of the Infrastructure Engineer:

• Implement and manage network infrastructure solutions 
• Troubleshoot problems within the network and security infrastructure 
• Deliver advanced technical support, consultation, and collaboration across the enterprise
• Provide in-depth subject matter expertise in IP network, IP network security, WAN, internet, and cloud connectivity 

Requirements of the Infrastructure Engineer:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, IT, or other technical field
• 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience with servers, networks, and working in data center environments
• 5+ years of experience working with VMware virtualization and SAN storage devices
• 5+ years of experience working with Cisco and Meraki switches and wireless controllers
• Strong knowledge of internet working designs and their applications, including IP subnetting and complex routing techniques on LAN/WAN networks, security
• Understanding of SDN/SDDC, including experience with Azure
• Extensive knowledge of systems, networking, and architecture
• Understanding of OSI model, switching, VPNs, VLANs, WiFi, and Azure networks
• Relevant technical certifications preferred (Cisco/Meraki, CCNA, CCNP, CMNA)
