Our financial services client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Pay Rate: $70.00 - $90.00/hr on W2

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.

Requirements of the Senior Software Engineer:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 8 years hands-on experience as a software engineer
  • Hands-on Azure / AWS experience or demonstrated desire to build cloud experience
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and utilizing uDeploy and/or Ansible
  • Experience working with Event Driven Architecture -- Kafka, Webhooks
  • Experience with Test Driven Development -- JUnit, Jasmine, Karma, Protractor, Jest, etc.
  • Expertise with Agile (Scrum, Kanban) delivery and software design, development, test and operational automation
  • Proficient in Java, Ansible, Python, any programming language and experienced in developing APIs and micro-services
  • Understanding of modern data architecture principals and patterns
  • Understanding of enterprise-scale platform architecture 
  • Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and container-based development and deployment practices
  • Familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc)
  • Proven ability to work independently and professionally in high pressure/visibility situations within tight timeframes
  • Ability to trouble-shoot complex data issues across the e2e technology stack
