Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Support / Operations Senior Specialist with our industry-leading client in Richmond, VA.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities:

  • Fact finding and problem identification
  • Issue analysis
  • Scheduling releases of the product after bug fixes
  • Resolving technical requests and issues and propose solutions
  • Working with internal teams to implement solutions

Requirements:

  • Strong problem-solving, investigative, and analytical skills
  • Aptitude for drawing reasonable conclusions from a set of information, and discriminating between useful and less useful details
  • Solid data analysis experience with market data, trading data and protocols
  • Experience working in Linux environment, especially with data extraction
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable with influencing and working with internal stakeholders on prioritization
  • Ability to multi-task, possess excellent time and priority management skills and a have a self-motivated attitude
  • An eagerness to learn and high work ethic is highly desirable
  • Previous experience in a data management / quality role with a six sigma or similar qualification
  • Capability to act proactively and work effectively across business units, functions and regional locations
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills; with demonstrated ability to develop trusted working relationships at all levels of the organization
  • BA / BS in related field
  • 5+ years of experience, with a mix of financial services, risk and/or technology, and/or consulting roles.
  • Knowledge around financial markets and their operations
  • Knowledge of change management processes & the ITIL Framework
  • Previous experience in working in a globally distributed team
