Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled DevOps Engineer with our leading national security client in Morrisville.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with US-based residency for at least the last 5 years.

Responsibilities of the DevOps Engineer:

  • Utilize tools like Jenkins, Puppet, and Ansible to automate processes in one of the following: Unix/Linux, Windows, Storage, Middleware, and VMware
  • Provide high level support and expertise related to infrastructure architecture, design, and automation processes
  • Act as the primary systems administrator for a large enterprise environment
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise information systems security guidelines

Requirements of the DevOps Engineer:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • At least 2 years of hands-on automation experience using Ansible, Jenkins, Chef, or Puppet
  • Experience with change automation practices and processes
  • Proficiency in a scripting languages, such as Python
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
