Job Description

Do you have desktop support experience with a current CompTIA Security+CE certification, and the desire to work for a key government integrator? If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our leading client in Arlington!

Due to federal security contract requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with an active Top Secret clearance.

**Please note, the hours for this role are 12 AM - 8:30 AM Tuesday - Saturday.

Responsibilities of the Help Desk Technician:

  • Provide continuous coverage, technical support, and resolution to end users on hardware, software, and network related issues
  • Track and resolve incident and service request tickets; ensure resolution and promote customer satisfaction
  • Complete and document trouble tickets according to established procedures and SLA time frames
  • Install, update, and provide corrective maintenance for operating systems, applications, and physical IT equipment

Requirements of the Help Desk Technician:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent; or, equivalent training, education, and certifications
  • Current CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, or GSEC to meet IAT II requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience of hands-on technical experience in systems administration and analysis
  • At least 2 years of experience across Microsoft Office 2010 and Microsoft Windows 7
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds to a height of 3-4 feet and work under desks and in enclosed spaces
