Job Description

Are you a skilled and experienced Security Engineer looking for a long-term mission critical role with a trusted federal integrator?

If so, we may have the ideal position for you with our client in Sierra Vista.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident with an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities of the Security Engineer:
  • Support project planning, design, development, and integration
  • Support IP data networking equipment in a DoD network - Cisco, Juniper, Brocade
  • Leverage tools like Wireshark to troubleshoot IP data networks
Requirements of the Security Engineer:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 8 years of experience in IT
  • Expertise in routing protocols, VoIP, and related technologies
  • Experience in all aspects of network security
  • Experience with IT data networking
  • Experience with Linux, Microsoft. Cisco IOS, Juniper
  • Knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of Visio
  • DoD IAT Level III certification
  • Computing environment certification (CCNA)
