Job Description

Eliassen Group is seeking a Technical Software Support Consultant for a project with a Denver-based client. As a Technical Software Support Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software systems. You will deliver exceptional customer service providing Tier 2 support for both customers and employees. SQL experience is required for this position.

Responsibilities of the Technical Software Support Consultant:
  • Install, configure, improve and maintain the firm’s software platforms.
  • Respond to and resolve technical support issues from internal and external customers via telephone, email and remote connections.
  • Support migrations, managing issues and serving as a support contact for internal and external customers.
  • Create and update clear and professional technical documentation.
  • Maintain overall desktop experience through updates, automation, and configuration changes.
  • Continuously improve user experiences by improving and streamlining processes and practices.
  • Configure and maintain a test environment that closely mirrors the firm’s production systems.
  • Work cross-functionally across the enterprise to implement and maintain best practices.
Requirements of the Technical Software Support Consultant:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in an IT support position, specifically within software support providing Tier 2/escalated support.
  • Experience working with SQL, Windows Active Directory and Enterprise Server required.
  • Ability to configure and maintain Windows Server environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with prior experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with previous experience in a customer service-related position.
