Job Description

Do you possess several years of technical support experience coupled with a desire to join a key government integrator?

If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our innovative client in Raleigh!

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities of the Tier 2 IT Support Specialist:

  • Respond to and manage customer support requests
  • Proactively identify and resolve performance issues
  • Support change management and operations maintenance
  • Maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction

Requirements of the Tier 2 IT Support Specialist:

  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in a technical support/help desk role
  • Understanding of and ability to use basic network commands
  • Knowledge and application of basic technical practices and theory
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, WINS, subnet, and subnet mask
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Certifications such as A+/Network+/Server+ are a plus
