Job Description

We have a wonderful opportunity for an Android Developer with our industry-leading financial services client in Ann Arbor.

We will accept corp to corp or w2 contractors. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities of the Android Developer:

  • Lead, participate in, and document ideas from design sessions for new features
  • Review programming tasks of varying complexity 
  • Analyze problems and recommend solutions
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing among the team
  • Develop coding logic according to secure coding standards
  • Continuously evaluate code for performance and scalability 
  • Develop, test, and validate security features and code

Requirements of the Android Developer:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • At least 5 years of android programming experience
  • At least 4 years of object-oriented design and analysis experience
  • At least 4 years of experience with distributed systems development
  • At least 2 years of experience with Agile, TDD, or related methodologies
  • Ability to quickly grasp new skills
  • Passion for Android and Java
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills
