Job Description

We have a lovely opportunity for a Back End Java Developer with our industry-leading client.

Responsibilities of the Back End Java Developer:

  • Develop data models from the ground up
  • Troubleshoot and debug large components with limited assistance
  • Lead and actively participate in code reviews
  • Design and develop practical APIs 

Requirements of the Back End Java Developer:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and at least 5 years of Java development experience
  • Experience with J2EE, IBM WebSphere, Struts, and Spring required
  • Proficient in SQL and relational database design/concepts
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages
  • Experience with REST services, source code control, and MS Office Suite
  • Strong web development skills
  • Experience in Agile environment and knowledge of user stories, features, and acceptance criteria
