Job Description

Our client is an international information technology and solutions consulting company. They are currently seeking a Field Technician to join their dedicated team. 

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain a NACI Clearance. We offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities of the Field Technician:

  • Provide technical and administrative support, as well as on-site field support to customers
  • Set up hardware and software
  • Provide desktop imaging and push out software updates using SCCM
  • Set up users to the network, update network drivers, and add clients that run VPN over Citrix
  • Use a ticketing system to schedule meetings, install and set up equipment
  • Resolve or escalate issues to appropriate service area
  • Support disaster recovery and adapt to various types of situations, clients and tools
  • Perform analyses and prepare reports on system problem trends and issues

Requirements of the Field Technician:

  • Associate Degree or High School Diploma/GED with relevant experience
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the field of desktop support and audio visual support
  • Experience with audio and video conference along with hardware and software
  • Experience with Windows 10 and Office 16/O365
  • Able to work and troubleshoot issues in a remote environment using remote access tools
  • Strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, problem solving, and time management skills
