We have an exciting opportunity for a Scrum Master with our industry-leading client in Stamford.

Responsibilities of the Scrum Master:

  • Guide teams through Agile ceremonies, including daily scrum meetings, and sprint planning/reviews/retrospectives
  • Identify and remove any impediments that might affect the successful, on-time delivery of project objectives
  • Prioritize product backlog in conjunction with product owner, with an eye on future sprints
  • Ensure team is focused on delivering business value
  • Enable effective collaboration and self-organization across teams

Requirements of the Scrum Master:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master for software development teams
  • Well-versed in the tenents of servant-leadership, facilitation, and conflict-resolution
  • Excellent ability to effectively motivate and empower teams while increasing transparency
  • Solid project management background with good organizational skills
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
