**This is a second shift position.

Responsibilities of the Technical Support Specialist:
  • Provide Tier 1 technical support for internal employees
  • Resolve issues as possible and escalate to Tier 2 support as required
  • Create and manage use accounts, perform laptop imaging, set up new users
  • Support and troubleshoot end user IT equipment and software issues
  • Support and troubleshoot network issues related to desktops/laptops and VoIP phones
  • Participate in 24x7 on call rotation as required
Requirements of the Technical Support Specialist:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • At least 2 years of work experience; A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications a plus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems - Windows 7/8/10
  • Working knowledge of Apple OS X Operating Systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010/2013/2016 and O365 products
  • Understanding of network technologies: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN
  • Experience with Symantec and similar enterprise antivirus technologies
  • Experience with enterprise Mobile Device Management technologies
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Experience in a lab environment preferred
